Therapeutic Yin Tasman

Therapeutic Yin – Beginning Term 1, 2026 (Tasman Region)
Offered from Term 1, 2026 in the Tasman region,
Therapeutic Yin is a gentle, floor-based yoga practice taught through a trauma-informed lens. This class emphasizes agency, choice, and deep listening to the body’s needs—supporting you to honour your unique experience in each moment.
This calming and meditative practice invites you to slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with yourself. Yin yoga targets the body’s deeper connective tissues—fascia, ligaments, joints—through long-held, supported postures designed to release tension and enhance mobility.
With the support of props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks, each pose is held with ease and comfort, allowing for a gradual softening of the body and a soothing of the nervous system. This class offers a gentle invitation to move from ‘doing’ into simply ‘being.’
Rooted in compassion and mindful presence, Therapeutic Yin creates space to unwind, breathe deeply, and restore balance to both body and mind.
All levels welcome.
